Laundry Room

The Laundry Room illustrates how washing was done through the years. A copper wash kettle used for boiling white clothes sits on a small gas stove. Sad irons, which were heated on the stove, and then used to iron clothing, are found in this room. After Violet moved into the Mansion, she bought and used the Maytag washer and mangle.
