Kansas Wholesale

  • Location: Alley of Jan-L's Flowers and Gifts on Elm between 8th and 9th streets
  • Sponsored by: Dr. Kendall McNabney and Family
  • Restored in 2005 by Mike DeRosa, Coffeyville Community College Art Instructor. This restoration effort was paid for by the 1st Annual Don Sprague Memorial Golf Tournament proceeds and a grant from Wal-Mart.

Built in 1909 by M.S. McNabney, Kansas Wholesale carried an entire line of wholesale groceries. The business, operating today as Taylor Wholesale, is still open in the 1300 block of Willow. Taylor Wholesale has been in business for over 50 years. He has also been instrumental in carrying on the historical mural project.
